Datta Lab secures its second extramural grant from Vision Group of Science and Technology, KSTePS, Government of Karnataka for developing a state-of-the-art preclinical research laboratory on stroke. It is an infrastructure grant worth 30 Lakhs with a project duration of 2 years.
Deepthi Ann Thomas, a BS-MS student from IISER-TVM joins as Junior Research Fellow. Devangana Rajan, a B.Sc. Neuroscience student from the University of Glasgow, UK joins as a short-term intern.

Arnab's PhD project on “Application of proteomics to discover potential therapeutic targets and biomarkers” contributed in securing a National Medical Research Council grant in Singapore and attracted industrial players like Agilent technologies Inc. who provided Triple Quadrupole Mass spectrometer to validate biomarkers of stroke and dementias in human subjects.
